They look great - possible construction issue

These seemed good value - lightweight and renown for comfort. They fit in store upon trying them on - I foolishly left the box behind upon purchase. These shoes gave me the worst heel blister I’ve ever had within 30 mins of brisk walking from the station to work.. I know it’s generally a size issue that causes this, although even buying heel patches to avoid this, the upper construction jutts into my heel - making these completely unwearable. Maybe it was a bad batch of shoes? I don’t think Myer will accept a return without the box.
