I like to mix this into a regular hair mask to get a subtle tint of colour - I find it can feel a touch gritty on my hair if I use it on its own and I notice that mostly when I try to run it through my hair straightener and it sort of catches on the smooth plates. This is my second purchase of this particular shade. It really grew on me and I get a lot of compliments when I apply it.
