I recently purchased this SMEG coffee grinder as the other SMEG options were not suitable for an espresso machine. Unfortunately this one only comes in sliver, which is the first letdown, whereas the other range comes in a range of colours. I could live with that, even though my SMEG espresso machine is black. It has an adjustable grind and adjustable timing, which is a necessity if you want a decent coffee out of your espresso machine. However, the bracket that holds the groupset/filter is largely useless and every time you use it, coffee grounds will be spread across the bench where your grinder is located. This is a real shame, because I have a De Longhi grinder as well, and it has a much better bracket and much less mess as a result.
