Terrible smell

The duvet reeked of chemicals the moment I took it out of the bag. I have never smelt something like that on either clothing or bedding, and this is meant to be made from cotton, not some artificial chemical cocktail. I tried airing it out for two days but it still stank. I bought it online so didn’t have a chance to inspect it before buying. I will be taking it back to Myer as not being fit for purpose.
