Great machine, needs to improve bean hopper design

megname2011 — 4 out of 5 stars

Overall we are very happy with the machine features and functionality. The espresso is excellent. It is easy to use and intuitive overall. One drawback and an opportunity for redesign is the bean hopper. It's fairly flat, so beans don't naturally fall into the grinder easily. Every few days, I need to reposition beans and feed into the grinder corner. A funnel style hopper would better leverage gravity and improve on this weakness.

Good machine, works well, produces great coffee

Phil.ap — 5 out of 5 stars

Having use this machine for over a month I can say that I am fully satisfied with it. It is working perfectly and produces a really good cup of coffee, exactly what you would expect. It is easy to use and set up. Cleaning is more complicated than my previous Krupp’s machine but you do get used to it. Build quality appears to be good and depending on the longevity over time the jury is out on that. My old Krupp’s lasted over 10 years but was then uneconomical to repairs, so I expect at least that from this machine?

Good coffee

Given to us for our 50th Wedding anniversary. Instructions weren't easy to follow and still leaning how to use it properly.
