[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a HydroFlask food jar, knowing it was more expensive than its competitors in hopes that it would be of superior quality and performance and not just paying for the logo. Pros ā nice size for bringing a meal to work Cons ā boiling water is tepid within a few hours, and not being able to microwave a metal bowl means I now have a cold soup container ā after one washing in the dishwasher, there is a small discoloration in one area of the container. Unclear if this is a result of the bottle being metal and the cap being plastic or if the metal is not properly shaped to retain heat or serve as an insulated container. Expected higher quality for the price, but was disappointed and will not be making another purchase. If this is the standard for this type of product, will save my money and get a no name brand in the future. I feel as if I got tricked by the hype.
