It doesn’t have a way for you to select if you want soft medium or hard boiled eggs, the way the machine “knows” this is by how much water you add to the cooker. The instructions tell you how much water to add. One morning a brown-ish spot appeared on the cooker, not sure if this is normal or not. For now it is working as intended.
