I searched for this product as my hairdresser has one and it always works so well. It is so good with my very thick and unruly hair. I am not sure why it works so well, but possibly the wide tooth comb glides easily and calms my hair. The weight of the material used in the comb is excellent to use/comb through very thick hair. It is such a good product and I am very happy with it and will continue to buy it.
