I purchased this rowing machine as it was the most affordable option compared to others on the market, and I was hesitant to invest heavily in a machine that I might not use consistently. The assembly instructions are straightforward but rely heavily on a picture guide where images are overlaid, making the assembly process somewhat challenging. Once assembled, the machine proves to be quite average. It is not well-suited for individuals of larger builds or average height. Those taller than 1.5 meters may struggle to use it effectively. As a smaller individual, I can just about extend my legs fully, but my partner, who is taller, was unable to do so, limiting the machine's effectiveness. Additionally, the machine touches the floor even when the height is adjusted to the maximum. It is somewhat clunky, and without added weight on the main base, the entire machine lifts off the ground with each row. On a positive note, this rowing machine serves as a reasonable entry-level option for those on a budget or uncertain about investing in a more expensive model. Its lightweight design makes it easy to move and store, which is beneficial for those with limited space. While the rowing motion is not exceptionally smooth, it does offer a satisfactory workout for the arms and core. Overall, itβs a cost-effective choice for smaller individuals seeking to start rowing at home.
