<div>Japara fabric is a natural product which is made of quality fabric impregnated with a paraffin-based wax, and it is then finely woven into a very durable cloth with a thick texture plus a silky feel and look. It is also found to be less susceptible to liquids and other staining elements.</div><div><br></div><div>What is Japara fabric for?</div><div>Sometimes known as waxed fabric, Japara fabric was first developed as a way to make sailcloth cloaks much stronger for use in the shipping industry back in mid-19th century. Over the years, its production process has been greatly fine-tuned and a number of different uses of the fabric has later been developed to make Japara fabric into popular and durable waterproof jackets for the navy, motorcyclists and outdoor sports lovers.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Interestingly, it has also somehow found its way to become a much sought-after premier fabric for mattress covers, pillow shells and duvet casings (that is, quilt/doona casings). This is because the tightly woven construction of Japara fabric can effectively prevent sharp feather tips, tiny goose down quills or fine wool fibres from poking through the quilt casing or pillow shell, thus minimising some potential allergic reaction for many allergy sufferers.</div><div><br></div><div>What are the main benefits of Japara fabric?</div><div>Although Japara fabric with a thick and finely woven texture is much more expensive than regular fabric, it is still definitely a very good investment for quality bedding products, especially if you are after a quality duvet/quilt/doona or pillow which is either wool-filled or goose down-filled. Unlike regular cotton that is much thinner, Japara fabric can prevent the feathers or wool fibres from protruding through the duvet casing and pillow shell. Better still, it is hard-wearing and it does not pill.<br></div><div><br></div><div>With its water-repellent and stain-resistant property, waxed fabric like Japara fabric is also excellent in protecting your expensive mattress, duvet and pillows from the any liquid-based accidents that may occur. If you ever eat anything or drink anything on your bed, even water, it can be a catastrophe if you do not have a water-repellant fabric cover. This Japara fabric cover makes it possible for you to easily and quickly clean up any liquidy or fluid mess, without worrying about damage to your expensive investments.</div><div><br></div><div>Whats more, Japara fabric is a natural fabric that is highly durable, breathable and comfortable. Like normal fabric, it is a healthy choice for quilt casings or pillow shells as it allows moisture from the body to pass through and eliminates that clammy feeling, thus giving you a more restful nights sleep. This pillow is filled with material to provide the softness. Covered with hypo-allergenic cotton japara and impenetrable to dust mites.</div><div><span style=&quot;font-weight: bold;&quot;><br></span></div><div><span style=&quot;font-weight: bold;&quot;>Features :</span></div><ul><li>Filled with genuine deluxe material</li><li>Hypo-allergnic and impenetrable to dust mites</li><li>Recommended for Asthma sufferers</li><li>Encased in soft material</li><li>Retains loft and odourless</li><li>Regular outdoor airing is ideal for best results</li><li>Made in China<br></li></ul>
