CENTRA MUSIC BOXING MACHINE

— 5 out of 5 stars

This machine is brilliant, so many program choices, still working them all out and different speeds, I love the extra buttons to punch, it can go extra loud or soft so not to disturb the neighbors, I was able to easily install it to a brick wall in which most machines don't allow, but used different screws recommended by my Dad :) the ones it came with probably would have been ok though. This machine is great for my fitness and mental health. Big thumbs up.

Great for uppercuts, durable — music is a drawback

Mum of some — 3 out of 5 stars

I bought this light-up boxing machine because of the two extra pads at the bottom, which most others don’t have. I specifically wanted it for training uppercuts, and in that regard it works brilliantly. Plug in and charge, comes with Velcro mounting and fittings/bracket to be drilled into wall. I did a dodgy install and used bungee straps hooked into the bracket holes and wrapped around our freestanding boxing bag. It works well and I’m not ever going to submit a warranty claim- but clearly it’s not meant to be mounted in this fashion. Single mum with no handyman skills here! Great battery life. As a sole parent of three energetic boys aged 7 to 10, I’m constantly on the lookout for activities that help them burn energy without hurting each other — and this has been a winner. It’s copped an absolute flogging and still holds up strong. It even withstands adult punches without an issue. The kids stay engaged for ages, and it’s a much better outlet than a regular punching bag. The downsides: the music is loud, repetitive, and can’t be turned off. You can mute the “punch” sound effects, but not the background music — which is a real shame. I assumed, based on similar (and cheaper) models, that it would have Bluetooth connectivity or at least a mute function, but it doesn’t. That was partly my mistake for not reading the listing more closely. The display is also very basic, but for the physical fun and fitness benefits, it still gets a lot of use. Our neighbours might not love it — but my kids do.
