[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie is ready to takeover New York fashion week. Doll is Collection item, it comes wrapped on paper, has a certificate of authenticity and a stand. My daughter first impression was that she looks like Theresa. She likes the outfit and is the first time she has a Barbie with socks!, we both agree that it would have been nice that her cap had NY instead of the B and the purse had a big logo with the B for Barbie. Her hair color and makeup and cute and it will be nice that she came with a hairbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not all BARBIE dolls are created equal and this one is really impressive in every detail. We're big fans of New York Street Style and they really did a good job with the outfit. The striped shirt dress and trench coat retain that NY style without being tacky, and the clunky designer-inspired shoes with socks are really spot on. Oversized hoops complete the look. The doll is completely articulated, including in the torso, with a model figure that's not exaggerated. I don't love that the bag is a clutch - it makes it harder to pose her with it but otherwise I'm a big fan.
